Marteen Allen
Textile Designer + CREATIVE Consultant
Marteen Allen, is a life-long New Yorker with over a decade of experience working as a textile designer and consultant for textile mills and fabric houses. As an artist from an early age, her practice is rooted in a cross-disciplinary approach that straddles fine art and design. By linking the artist's studio with design principles, she is inspired to combine creative chance with thoughtful planning in her practice.

In her studio practice, she emphasizes textile craftsmanship, the artist's studio, and storytelling. She incorporates her experience into the projects she loves most: richly storied textiles for discerning clients. Her work has been published in a number of magazines, including Wallpaper, Architectural Digest, and Surface.

In 2022, Marteen founded Studio Jeannot [zha-no], a textile design and creative consulting studio.
